It is on a plate or sticker behind the access door, under the grease tray or on the back of the grill head. Built-in heads often carry it under the control panel. Every part we list names the models it fits.

Step 2

Match the part, or measure it

Compare the model number with the part listing. If the plate is gone, measure the old part end to end and note the mounting style. A burner or grate ordered by measurement usually fits, but a model number makes it certain.

Most grill problems come down to a handful of parts. A burner that lights unevenly, a cooking grate that has rusted through, an igniter that stopped clicking or a regulator that cannot hold a steady flame will each bring a grill to a halt, and each is a part you can swap in an afternoon. On a quality stainless steel grill, that repair adds years of service for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Parts are matched to specific models, so brand is the right place to start. If you also want to keep the weather off a freshly repaired grill, a fitted cover is the cheapest insurance you can buy. How do I find my grill's model number?
Look for a plate or sticker behind the access door, under the grease tray or on the back of the grill head. Built-in heads often carry it on the underside of the control panel. Every part we list names the models it fits, so match that number against the listing. If the plate is missing, measure the old part and call us with the dimensions.
Are these genuine manufacturer parts?
Yes. Capital Grills is an authorized dealer for the brands we carry, so the burners, grates, igniters, valves and knobs here are the same components the manufacturers build into their grills. Weber parts are genuine Weber replacement parts.
Do you ship grill parts nationwide?
Yes. Parts ship anywhere in the country, and orders over $75 ship free. Most parts are small and leave quickly.
Can I convert my grill from propane to natural gas?
Often, yes, with the manufacturer's conversion kit for your exact model. Conversion changes the orifices and regulator, so the kit has to match the grill. Call 1 (866) 850-3450 with your model number and we will confirm the right kit.
What if I am not sure which part has failed?
Call 1 (866) 850-3450 with your model number and a photo of the problem. A burner that lights unevenly, an igniter that has stopped clicking or a flame that will not hold steady each point to a different part, and our team can usually pin it down over the phone.
Do you install the parts?
In the greater Washington DC area, our service arm BBQ Rescue offers grill repair, cleaning and assembly and can fit the part for you. Outside that area we ship the part and most replacements are a straightforward job with basic tools.
