Which Bull grill cover fits your grill
Bull sizes its covers by grill model, not by a generic width, and it makes separate covers for built-in grill heads and for freestanding carts. Two things decide which one you need: the model name on the grill, and whether it sits in an island or on a cart. The part number at the end of each product title is Bull's own, so you can match it against your owner's manual before you order.
Bull 30-inch grill covers: Angus, Bison, Lonestar Select and Outlaw
Bull's four 30-inch gas grills share the same covers. For a grill head built into an island, the Bull 30-inch built-in grill cover (45005) is heavy-duty 300D polyester with an elastic strap sewn into the hem, so it grips the hood and stays put in wind. For the same grills on a cart, the Bull 30-inch freestanding cart cover (72012) reaches down over the cart and side shelves, in a water-resistant, UV-inhibited fabric with fastening straps.
Bull Brahma 38-inch grill covers
The Brahma is Bull's 38-inch, five burner grill, and it takes its own covers. The Bull 38-inch built-in cover (56006) fits the Brahma and Renegade built-in grill heads, in 300D polyester with a sewn-in elastic strap. The Bull 38-inch freestanding cover (72013) is the cart version, sized for Bull's largest freestanding grill.
Bull Steer 24-inch and Diablo 46-inch covers
At the two ends of the range, the Bull 24-inch cover (72016) fits the Steer Premium built-in grill and is made of heavy vinyl with strap ties, and the Bull 46-inch cover (72017) fits the Diablo built-in grill, in 300D polyester with an elastic strap.
Bull griddle covers
Bull's 30-inch gas griddle has covers of its own, because a griddle sits lower than a hooded grill and a grill cover will not fit it properly. Choose the built-in griddle cover (72019) for a griddle set into an island, or the freestanding griddle cover (72020) for the griddle and cart together. Both are water-resistant, UV-inhibited and held down with fastening straps. More flat top options are in outdoor griddles.
Built-in or freestanding: check before you order
A built-in cover drops over the hood and control panel and stops at the countertop, so the island does not figure into the fit. A freestanding cover is much taller, because it has to clear the cart, the side shelves and the tank area. They are not interchangeable: a cart cover will pool on a countertop, and a built-in cover will leave a cart exposed. Every title on this page states which installation the cover is made for.
Getting the most from a Bull cover
Let the grill cool completely and dry off before you cover it, since trapped moisture does more harm over a season than rain. Brush loose debris off the cover now and then and let it dry before folding it away. A cover protects the outside of the grill, but burners, grates and igniters still wear with use, and when one is due we stock grill replacement parts as well.
